Unforgettable Week

February 15, 2011. The sports filled event started off with the Cheer-dance. In this event, students showcased their talents in well coordinated dance moves. All teams performed well, however there must only be one winner in this category. Judges had to decide and 3 - Leah was proclaimed the champion for this incident. Second event that took place was the modern dance competition. Although the Juniors, obviously gave their all, the championship title was not for them. The 3rd activity that took place in this fun-filled event was the ballroom dancing. For this particular category, finally, all the hard work was rewarded. III - Rachel was awarded as champions. After all the different types of dancing took place, the next two days of our Foundation week was dedicated to Ball games. Although III - Rachel lost during the game of Basketball, they emerged as champions of Volleyball. Despite the losses, heat of the sun, and tiredness evident in those who participated in the events, everyone was still in high spirits. Smiles were across their faces meaning that they were happy and satisfied of the results because they gave their very best. Team work and being good sports were obviously embedded in each and every one.
